Shabbat Menu: Honey Chicken and Sweet Plantains

Fried Sweet Plantains

Ingredients:

4 ripe, black plantains, peeled and cut on bias into 2-inch pieces

1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions:

1. Heat oil in a large heavy skillet over medium heat.

2. When the oil is hot, fry the plantains in batches until golden on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Serve!
