This week’s Shabbat menu features my favorite kind of chicken. Fried chicken, it’s my guilty pleasure. I very rarely have it, but when I do, I really indulge myself. We all gotta live a little sometimes right?
Fried chicken needs to be served with traditional southern treats. Braised okra and some mashed potatoes, and some homemade apple pie for dessert. Go ahead cheat a little with some store bought pie crust.
