Shabbat Menu: Fish in Parchment Paper and Pear Tart

Asian Pear Tart with Ice Cream

Ingredients:

2 sheets puff pastry

3-4 Asian pears, sliced

2 tbsp apricot jam, warmed up

ice cream, optional

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Roll out pastry. Cut each sheet into 4 rectangles.

2. Place 4 slices of the pears in the center of each square. Fold over pastry edges to make a border around the pear slices. Brush with some jam over the pears and bake for 20 minutes or until tarts are golden brown.

3. Serve immediately with a scoop of ice cream. Enjoy!
