I can’t mention this enough, but one of my favorite things about the colder months is making stew. I love braising meat, and in the cooler months this is perfect because the long cooking times warm up the entire house. Plus, stews taste of love and warmth, which are the best ingredients in any meal.
This week’s Shabbat menu features spinach salad with avocado and almonds, beef stew, celery and potato puree, and a pear crisp for dessert.
