This is a recipe for┬áSun-Dried Tomato and Sardine Crostini. It’s a perfect snack or starter for any gathering. The flavors make every bite an amazing treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced in 1 inch slices and lightly toasted
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cups whole sardines
  • 1 cup whole sun dried tomatoes, in olive oil
  • 1 cup green olives
  • 1 small red onion, diced
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • dill for garnish

Instructions

  • 1. Toast the bread slices. Meanwhile, slice your olives and the onion. Mix together with the olive oil and lemon juice. Season with pepper.
  • 2. Spoon the olive and onion mixture on top of the bread. Top with 1-2 sun-dried tomatoes and top the tomatoes with a sardine. Repeat for the rest of the slices of baguette.
  • 3. Serve crostini with some dill for garnish. Enjoy!
