Ingredients

  • 20 dried dates, pitted
  • 15 raw almonds
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 6 oz dark chocolate
  • pinch kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut

Instructions

  • 1. Put dates, almonds, cinnamon, chocolate and salt in a food processor and process until very finely chopped.
  • 2. Spread the coconut on a plate.
  • 3. Form rounded 1/2 teaspoonfuls of the mixture into balls with your fingers, then roll in the coconut, pressing to coat. Refrigerate before serving with tea or coffee.
