This is a recipe for chocolate popcorn. This is an amazing dessert. This simple snack is easy to make and tastes delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1 cup good-quality dark chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • 1. In a double boiler or bowl set atop a pan filled with water, melt chocolate. Mix in the butter or margarine until evenly incorporated.
  • 2. Using an air-popper, pop popcorn.
  • 3. Pour the melted chocolate over popped popcorn, toss well to coat, and transfer to a parchment lined baking sheet.
  • 4. Sprinkle with salt and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes until the chocolate firms. Serve!
