This recipe for┬áchocolate covered bananas is amazing. It’s easy, delicious, simple and the best part is that it’s parve. The bananas are dipped into chocolate then topped with any topping you like and refrigerated.

Another great thing about this recipe is that your kids can get dirty and help. I have so much fun decorating these bananas and I’m an adult, so kids will love this!

Ingredients

  • 10 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 4 bananas, peeled and cut into 4-inch sections
  • 1 cup salted nuts, peanuts, almonds, walnuts, chopped or any toppings

Instructions

  • 1. Place chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of gently simmering water, or use a double broiler. Stir just until melted.
  • 2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Insert a popsicle stick in one end of each banana piece.
  • 3. Using the popsicle stick, dip each banana into the chocolate, making sure its evenly coated.
  • 4. Sprinkle each banana with nuts or toppings of your choice.
  • 5. Refrigerate until chocolate is firm, about 1 hour.
