Baby Food Recipe: First Omelet

This is a recipe for a baby’s first omelet. I started making omelets for my daughter when she turned one. Eggs have a ton of protein, so they are so great for little bodies!

Later, you can start adding vegetables and other flavors, but my daughter enjoys them plain for now. The milk makes the omelet fluffy, which gives great texture to one little egg. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 fresh organic egg
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp butter

Instructions

  • 1. Whisk egg and milk together.
  • 2. Heat small skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter, then coat skillet with beaten egg. When the ends of the omelet start to lift up, flip omelet to cook the other side. Cook over low heat for another minute.
  • 3. Remove from the pan, cool for your little one and serve.
